I'm thinking that Connor is just about ready to start potty training and I have NO CLUE what I am doing. Does anyone know of a good program or good book that has been helpful to them? I'm completely clueless.

Hmm...Maybe try Super Nanny! I saw her talking about potty training once, I think she said that kids are ready when they go the afternoon with a dry diaper.

I had a lot of sources, Super Nanny had good thoughts and then I asked a friend who blogged about how they did it and asked my sisters too. We did the weekend method. Stayed home all weekend and just concentrated on everything potty. We tried first before the baby but she was not ready and was not getting it. So we stopped and did not fight it. We tried a few months later and she got it this time. The biggest thing everyone told me about it was if they are ready it will go smoother (not automatic or perfect but smoother). Do you still have my number? Call me and I can tell you more, there is a lot to tell.
One thing to remember is that no matter what, there will be accidents! Don't over react to them or it scares them out of wanting to use the potty.
Also, don't try when you are in the middle of change - moving, new child coming, etc. That is one of the reasons we didn't push it until Jamie was almost 3. Angela was born, 2 months later we moved, 3 months after that we moved again.
